The Department of Public Works is responsible for the condition and use of the City's municipal facilities, vehicles, and equipment. It also erects and maintains street and traffic signs, cleans and repairs streets, maintains sewers and water mains, administers refuse collection for the City, plans and administers design and construction of public buildings streets, sewers, and other improvements.
The Department of Public Works Consists of Five (5) Divisions:
- Division of Engineering
- Division of Environmental Services
- Division of Equipment Services
- Division of Transportation
- Division of Water Works
