St. Adalbert’s Catholic School is in the heart of the neighborhood and South Bend Community School’s Harrison Primary Center is at the western edge of the neighborhood. Close by is Pulaski Park with a playground, two softball fields and a soccer field, four basketball courts and two tennis courts. Also close by is the fabulous Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. This $52,000,000 facility offers an Aquatic Center, a Cardio Fitness and Weight Center. The Kroc supports, your physical, education, athletic and emotional goals. In addition to the thriving Mexican themed shops and restaurants there are national and local big box stores to the west. Martin’s Super Markets provides a locally owned, excellent supermarket. Banks, drug stores, and a multitude of restaurants are on the corridor.
